Saturday I had another nice skiing (or "trying to ski") day in
Spitzingsee, nice small resort in the Bavarian Alps (little less than an hour from Munich). Thanks to the organization of some colleagues, we were a group of almost 20 people and we had a great day! The weather was gorgeous (against all forecasts) and I really enjoyed the day, despite the "slow" start, picking up the car of a sick colleague unable to come, picking up the colleagues that were waiting for her lift, a car of another colleague breaking down... ;-) (it seems a bit like the story of a funny movie ;-)). After skiing some of us went to eat a piece of cake in the
Cafe Winkerlstüberl in Fischbachau, that is no less than a cake paradise :-))) If you have a couple of minutes to spare, take a look at this
video (it is taken from a German TV program called Galileo) and then ask yourself why you are not there yet ;-) Just one suggestion if you go there: either you count on not having lunch (or dinner, depending on what time it is) or it is better to share: the cake slices are simply HUGE! Sabato ho passato un'altra bellissima giornata a sciare (o meglio a cercare di sciare) a Spitzingsee, un comprensorio non enorme (perfetto per quanto mi riguarda) nelle Alpi Bavaresi (a poco più di un'oretta da Monaco). Grazie all'organizzazione di alcuni colleghi, ci siamo ritrovati in poco meno di 20 persone…Abbiamo trovato un bel sole (contro tutte le previsioni che davano brutto e neve) e abbiamo passato una giornata proprio niente male, nonostante l'inizio in salita, recuperando la macchina di una collega che si era ammalata e poi le persone che lei doveva accompagnare, e con qualche "problema tecnico" (il furgoncino di un collega ha deciso di smettere di funzionare proprio a metà strada…)… eh, sì, sembra proprio un film comico ;-). Dopo la sciata siamo andati a mangiare una fetta di torta al Cafe Winkerlstüberl a Fischbachau, che devo proprio ammettere è niente meno che il paradiso delle torte :-))). Se avete un paio di minuti da perdere, guardate questo video (è di un programma TV tedesco chiamato Galileo) e poi chiedetevi perché non siete già lì ;-) Solo un suggerimento se ci andate: se non contate di saltare il pranzo (o la cena, a seconda dell'ora), allora è meglio se prendete una fetta di torta in due: le fette sono semplicemente enormi!
